Cvent is the leader in event management technology, with over 4,000 employees globally. Cvent is looking for an addition of a Team Lead to take on leadership responsibilities within the Campus Recruiting team.

As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the campus recruiting team and program, spanning over 30 colleges and universities, and multiple Cvent locations. Cvent’s campus recruiting program plays a key part in the company’s talent acquisition goals and allows us to recruit top entry-level talent for our Technology, Client Services and Sales departments.

This individual will be a strategic recruiting resource when partnering with Cvent’s hiring leaders within these departments. A successful candidate proposes new and creative ideas, owns and contributes to strategic initiatives, possesses highly effective communication skills and the ability to motivate team members.

 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage, direct, and lead campus recruiting team
  • Provide coaching on pipeline management, campus team/university relationships, and best practices/process improvement
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, business leaders, and business partners to understand impacts on hiring needs and demand
  • Shape and influence business, recruiting, and engagement strategy related to the university landscape and entry-level hiring for Sales, Client Services, & Technology
  • Be a strategic thought leader in developing effective and innovative tools and best practices
  • Create and define recruiting metrics/data to support strategic decision making
  • Keep abreast of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices
  • Spearhead campus initiatives (Diversity & Inclusion, marketing/branding, etc.)

 

What You Need for this Position

  • 5+ years of experience in a fast paced, full life cycle campus recruiting environment
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Ideal candidate comes from a campus recruiting position in a Software/Technology company
  • Knowledge and development of university recruiting best practices, techniques, and processes
  • Proficient working with applicant tracking systems and university recruiting tools
  • Experience with marketing and brand management
  • Ability to prioritize, manage competing deadlines, build organized methods, and work closely with campus recruiting team to pivot and adapt to changing needs
  • Quick learner, with a positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to treat sensitive and confidential information with appropriate discretion
  • Ability to contribute ideas for creative recruiting techniques
  • Experience working with executives and business leaders, to provide recommendations and make informed decisions
