Associate Application Specialist

Job Description

PowerSchool, the nation's leading student information system provider to public, charter and independent K-12 schools, seeks motivated candidates to fill our Project Manager role in Product Deployment– a unique position wherein you are required to combine technical skills, client relations skills, and project management skills to provide assistance to our multi-office Registration team and the clients we serve.

Job Duties Include:

  • Reviewing information submitted by the client
  • Completing system setup in client environment
  • Importing and populating tables in client environment
  • Coordinate with Project Manager and other Consultants on project go live
Skills & Requirements

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines for multiple tasks and projects
  • Advanced Excel skills including formulas and vlookups
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Willingness/ability to learn new software quickly
  • Positive and cooperative attitude
  • Polished communication skills, verbal and written, and a professional demeanor
  • Knowledge of any of the CRM tools like Salesforce, Service now, Remedy etc. would be a plus
  • Willingness to work in the shifts as prescribed by the manager


Desired Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

  • PowerSchool or other Implementation experience a plus
  • MIS/CIS/CS or a related degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience with database structures and scripting languages (SQL) a plus
