Motion Graphics Specialist

MINDBODY is looking for a Motion Graphics Specialist to join our Marketing department on the Video & Motion Graphics (VMG) team. The position supports our marketing, sales and product development teams in creating various assets including paid media, web and organic social video content. As a Motion Graphics Specialist, you will be a passionate, enthusiastic person who loves tinkering in After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator as well as Premiere. You’ll collaborate with team members, art and creative directors, project managers and stakeholders to meet technical business objectives for video content.


  • BA/BS degree with an emphasis in Art, Graphic Design, Video and/or 2 - 3 years in a design-related position; online portfolio required
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis in After Effects
  • Experience with corporate, social and commercial video production, including paid media
  • Understanding of design principles, including layout, color theory, typography, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • A desire for continuously learning and evolving
  • Happy and helpful during all phases of production
  • Mobile app and software promotional production experience is a plus


  • Create and deliver final assets for many types of projects, including graphic design and type layouts, product demos, manipulated video and complex layered animations
  • Produce paid media advertisements that are compelling and meet our KPIs for engagement, etc
  • Work closely with the creative team on all incoming requests to scope work
  • Present concepts and treatments for projects, helping the creative team with all stages of development
  • Help build, define and innovate an in-house post-production process for graphics and animation
  • Work closely with video editors, graphic designers, copywriters and other members of the team to collaborate on projects and produce work that elevates the MINDBODY brand
  • Build trust with stakeholders and manage feedback in a professional, positive manner; revise and rework assets as needed all the way through final delivery
