Event Specialist

 Jamf is looking for an energetic and driven self-starter with a high level of initiative to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly growing company. As an Event Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the tactical execution of tradeshows and marketing projects, overseeing day-to-day priorities and deliverables. In this role, you will ensure marketing efforts are timely and coordinated, well executed, and align with department and company goals. The ideal candidate understands how successful events contribute to our demand generation strategy.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts research to support event activities, including evaluation of events, attendee demographics, competitive research, and propose new events that meet business objectives
  • Manages assigned projects related to events to ensure seamless and well thought out communication of details, schedules and overall duties necessary for executing a successful event
  • Accountable for staffing plans, event timelines, event budget, onsite management, lead flow and post-event analysis
  • Coordinates cross-functionally between departments and among sales leaders on event details, deadlines, and post-event tracking to ensure event success
  • Offers frontline support for sales by creating sales enablement training resources
  • Provides task-level direction for marketing in support of event execution
  • Ensures leads are collected, scored, attributed, and assigned to the correct sales team for follow-up post-event
  • Prepares reports to measure event results and ROI of event activities on a monthly basis
  • Coordinates with third party vendors to procure event collateral, promotional products and booth materials and serves as day-to-day contact
  • Inventories, packs and ships event materials; leverages third party freight providers
  • Maintains event hardware, sources timely repairs and orders equipment
  • Assists with tracking and managing event-specific budgets
  • Coordinate logistics to ensure successful execution of live and web-based events
  • Execute marketing strategies to support lead generation activities
  • Assists demand generation department with projects as needed
  • Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and purpose of the organization

Skills & Requirements

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English, Journalism or related major (Required). A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
  • At least 3 years of experience in tradeshow and event coordination (Required)
  • Experience overseeing events in a high tech, fast-paced B2B industry (Preferred)
  • Excellent time and project management with exceptional attention to detail Experience with a CRM platform (Salesforce preferred)
  • Experience with a marketing automation platform (Marketo preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Apple platform a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skillsProven analytical skills
  • Self-directed with the ability to take initiative
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with a passion for detail and execution
  • Strong project management and creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to maintain schedules and budgets

 

Location: Minneapolis, MN
Education: 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English, Journalism or related major / A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered.
