Here’s your opportunity to lead the worldwide Revenue Marketing team at Applause – one of the hottest, fastest-growing tech companies in the Boston area. As Director, Revenue Marketing, you’ll have responsibility for all aspects of the Demand Generation and Installed Base Marketing strategy and process: content, campaigns, events and operations. Reporting to the CMO, you’ll work in close partnership with Sales, Product Marketing and the rest of the Applause Marketing team, and will lead a worldwide team of eleven.

 

Responsibilities

 

·        Lead the development and execution of world-class Demand Generation programs to support high-growth B2B sales, selling to a diverse set of buyers

·        Create and launch best-in-class Installed Base Marketing programs to strengthen our customer relationships and extend their lifetime value

·        Leverage cutting-edge marketing technologies and state-of-the-art inbound and outbound techniques to accomplish your goals

·        Build a strategic content architecture and create a steady stream of diverse, engaging content objects that move prospects efficiently through sales funnel nurture streams and deepen existing customer relationships

·        Develop and execute multi-faceted, multi-touch, integrated campaigns calibrated to specific personas, solutions and industry vertical segments

·        Design and execute Applause’s presence at conferences, events and trade shows, to create company awareness and generate leads

·        Establish goals and KPIs for all Revenue Marketing programs based on historical or projected results, and tie back actual performance in growing pipeline and generating revenue

·        Strengthen and grow Marketing Operations to deliver the required technical, operational and analytical support to deliver continuous results and consistent reporting on our progress

·        Manage the lead lifecycle, working closely with sales, to monitor and drive timely and effective lead follow-up to ensure high rates of lead conversion to opportunities

·        Operate from a position of best practices for scale B2B Revenue Marketing organizations

 

Qualifications/Core Skills

 

·        8+ years of demonstrated success in owning, leading and managing Revenue Marketing programs in B2B organizations at the enterprise level

·        Demonstrated success in creating impactful campaigns – from conception, production and launch, to pipeline development and closed business.

·        Fluency in working with Salesforce.com and Marketo (or other marketing automation tools)

·        Experience implementing Account Based Marketing (ABM) programs

·        Expertise in retargeting, email marketing, SEO/SEM, landing page optimization and website analytics

·        Expertise in direct marketing tactics, including email, webinars, sponsorships, trade shows, mobile and use of third-party data sources

·        Proven team player with the ambassadorial demeanor and service mindset to partner effectively with Sales and Marketing leadership, as well as with other internal functions

·        Exceptional communication capabilities – written and verbal

·        A compelling and collaborative leader, manager and team builder, with a bias towards mentoring and professional development

·        Energy, intellect and a sense of humor – must thrive in dynamic, creative environments
