Sales Operations Associate 

About the role

The Sales Operations Associate position is the first point of contact and operates as an Analyst to achieve internal deal issue resolutions and structure within the sales team. This is to target the quote to cash sales process. The Sales Operations Associate also works to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Mindbody order procedures and enables the sales team to be more effective. Reporting to the Senior Director, Sales Operations, this role will work closely with members of the Sales, Customer Success, Sales Operations, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure deals comply within company policies.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction throughout
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance through all aspects of quote and contract packages, as well as business policies and procedures
  • Facilitate problem resolution related to moving prospects through sales cycle towards closure
  • Design intelligent deal processes that allow for greater transactional volume, while ensuring contracting risks are adequately mitigated
  • Review and record all sales orders for accuracy, deal structure and pricing
  • Read, interpret, and escalate contractual language to ensure non-standard transactions comply with revenue recognition and business policies; maintain deal playbooks as needed Liaise between stakeholders
  • Provide general support and respond to inquiries from the Sales Organisation around bookings, sales activities, and reporting
  • Help to improve the pricing process, pricing models and standards that dictate how deals are managed by contributing to our quote to cash initiative streamlining our contract and pricing process
  • Help to track and document non-standard deals
  • Complete monthly and quarterly analytics on the results of the business

Skills & Requirements

About you

  • Experience in order processing and invoicing at a SaaS organisation preferred
  • 2-3+ Experience Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Sales, Finance and/or revenue accounting functions

  •  Highly skilled in Salesforce and Outreach programs to analyse data sets for business outcomes

  • Understanding of quote to cash processes and contract lifestyle management
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills across all stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail in thought processes and proposals

  • Ability to multi-task, self-start, evaluate and provide solutions in addition to staying organised

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; specifically, with Excel
