CentralSquare is looking for a development leader with experience building and managing Development and QA teams. In this position, you will have significant latitude in researching, designing & guiding development of solutions, helping to solve complex problems, and will be expected to provide expertise in architecture, design, development & testing best practices and methodologies. You will work in a collaborative agile environment as part of a team of highly motivated and talented individuals.

Main Responsibilities

·         Manage application suites and the activities of multiple teams that develop, test, and maintain solutions

·         Manage set of full stack technologies

·         Mentor and motivate the existing and growing application Development and QA talent

·         Collaborate with others who provide governance on Scrum/Agile, reporting metrics, and architecture

·         Collaborate with product owners and others on product needs

·         Champion new ideas and initiatives to improve development process and quality

·         Deliver project, progress, quality, projection and other relevant information about development group to superiors and stakeholders

Skills & Requirements

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science strongly preferred, equivalent experience considered

·         Minimum 5 years professional development leadership experience

·         Minimum 5 years professional development experience with C++, Python, or .Net

·         Minimum 5 years professional development experience with PostgreSQL, MSSQL, or another RDBMS

·         Very strong analytical and coding skills

·         Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms and willingness to discuss them in detail

·         Strong passion for developing software and the teams of people who develop software

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Experience

·         Experience with front end JavaScript technologies

·         Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud technologies

·         Experience with Linux or other command line interfaces

·         You have an active Github or similar public code repo you can share

·         Involvement in the local developer community
