SalesForce CPQ Architect


Jamf | 650 - Business Operations

The Salesforce CPQ Architect will work within the Business Operations team to identify, design, and execute Salesforce solutions. This role requires the individual to use the power of the Salesforce platform to build dynamic, scalable solutions. You will design and build solutions based on CPQ, as well as define requirements, test development work, and maintain technical documentation.


  • Have a deep understanding of the inner workings of Salesforce CPQ in order to determine how best to approach a given situation
  • Design and implement CPQ solutions and enhance existing functionality
  • Ensure solution design on Salesforce.com platform integrates well with the integrated systems and coordinate changes accordingly with larger Business Operations team
  • Help define requirements for end-user functionality and test developed functionality to ensure it meets requirements
  • Deliver technical documentation of configured environment and processes
  • Develop and maintain, price rules, product rules, quote templates, and other key features of CPQ to support solution functionality
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, automation, validation rules, and other core features of the Salesforce platform to support solution functionality
  • Act as the CPQ Subject Matter Expert
  • Accurately scope, plan and estimate level of effort for tasks, with appropriate balance of risk and effort
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in solving complex business problems and coaches /mentors other team members with design leadership to achieve organizational goals
  • Perform regular identification and inventory of customer process pain points and gaps in best practices
Skills & Requirements


  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
  • 1+ years of Salesforce CPQ design, implementation, configuration and administration experience (Required)
  • Experience working on operational projects for sales, channel, marketing, finance and/or support organizations (Required)
  • Systems Analyst or Consulting experience (Preferred)
  • Experience with Sales Cloud, Partner Communities, and/or Force.com (Preferred)
  • Experience in enterprise software (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with Apple’s ecosystem (Preferred)
  • Experience working alongside or within an active M&A environment (Preferred)
