IT Program Manager

The IT Program Manager will work cross-functionally between departments managing all aspects of the project, process, and release cycle of systems supported by the IT and Facilities teams. This role serves the day-to-day management of IT and Facilities projects assuring that all pieces of our projects are accounted for and execution is aligned with overall strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and deliverables
  • Act as a member of the Change Advisory Board assuring all processes are followed and changes that impact employees are documented and communicated appropriately
  • Develop strategies for release governance
  • Act as a main point of contact for creating and maintaining a library of documentation including internal Services Catalog, Risk Assessments, meeting notes, and process workflows
  • Align IT & Facilities staff, work plans, and goals with established overall strategies for the department and company
  • Assist in defining, maintaining, and reviewing expenses and on-going budget related initiatives
  • Forward plan projects and release cycles for IT and Facilities projects
  • Measure and monitor progress of projects to ensure releases are delivered on time and within budget
  • Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes to leadership
  • Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams and different locations
Skills & Requirements

Professional Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage multiple small projects simultaneously with the ability to adapt priorities quickly and effectively
  • A high level of independence as demonstrated through clear problem solving and communication skills and the delivery of high quality work
  • Experience working in a compliance driven environment
  • Experience using Jira or similar project management software
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in a release or project management role (Required)
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must
  • PMP, APM, Scrum or similar certification
  • 4+ years of practical experience in coordinating efforts between multiple internal teams and external vendors (Preferred)

Location: Eau Claire, WI or Minneapolis, MN 

Travel: 10%
