Jose Salcedo joined Vista Equity Partners in 2025 and serves as a Managing Director, heading Strategic Partnerships and Initiatives for Latin America.

In this role, Jose is responsible for advancing Vista’s strategic vision across the region, including the expansion of long-term platform capabilities, institutional partnerships and the firm’s investor and ecosystem relationships in Latin America. Jose plays a key role in supporting Vista’s investment activities and strategic initiatives across Mexico and the broader Latin American region, working closely with deal teams, portfolio company leadership and external partners to drive operational excellence and long-term value creation.

Prior to Vista, Jose led alternative and direct investments for a single-family office, overseeing private market strategies across private equity, real estate, infrastructure and venture capital. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Klar and as a Managing Director at Riverstone Holdings, a leading energy-focused alternative asset manager, where he was instrumental in establishing and scaling the firm’s Latin American operations. Earlier in his career, he was a Director at Advent International and held investment banking roles at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse, executing M&A and capital markets transactions across multiple industries.

Jose is a former Board Member of Enseña por México (member of the Teach for All global network), a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing educational inequality in Mexico.
