Kara Smith joined Vista Equity Partners in 2024.

Prior to Vista, Kara worked at Goldman Sachs, where she most recently served as Vice President and Chief of Staff for the Global Recruiting. During her nearly 11-year tenure at the firm, she worked on various campus recruiting initiatives, including overseeing the firm’s Americas university relations strategy and execution of the diversity recruiting initiatives.
