Sam Payton joined Vista Equity Partners in 2015 and is a member of the private equity Flagship team.

Sam has been actively involved in numerous Vista transactions, such as Alegeus, Cvent, EAB, Jaggaer, PowerSchool (formerly NYSE: PSWC) and Xactly.

Prior to Vista, Sam worked at Odyssey Investment Partners, where he focused on middle-market buyout investments across various sectors. Before Odyssey, Sam was an Associate at Merrill Lynch, where he worked within the Financial Sponsors group.
