Administrative Assistant II

Entry Level

CentralSquare Technologies | Customer Support | Decorah, IA

Serve as primary point of contact to coordinate the daily operations of the office including, but not limited to the following:

Receptionist for office; includes answering telephone lines, scheduling meetings, greeting guests, and offering general hospitality to visitors.

Provide general administrative support for the local executive team.

 Primary point of contact for local building services, contractors, and CentralSquare employees for facilities and maintenance issues.

Create purchase requisitions. Review and approve local office vendor invoices. Follow up as necessary with vendors on discrepancies.

Responsible for general office upkeep and related tasks as they arise.

Coordinate local mail distribution, shipping, receiving, and couriers.

Assist with implementation of company initiatives and processes as assigned.

Able to continually pass background check requirements for working on and connecting to public safety information systems.

Skills & Requirements

Education: AA degree in Business or related area preferred

Professional Certification(s): OSHA classes and other professional certifications preferred

Specialized knowledge: Strong knowledge of maintenance processes and environmental standards

Computer skills: Strong working knowledge of software applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access, etc.) for performing administrative functions. Interest and ability to learn new software as needed (time tracking, issue tracking, etc.)

Experience (years and type): Minimum five years related experience in a senior level administrative support role


Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

Excellent listening, interpretation, and reasoning skills necessary

Must be an independent thinker and innovative problem-solver

Self-motivated and a self-starter
