Marketing Project Manager PMO Associate

The Marketing PMO (Project Management Office) Associate is responsible for supporting project management functions across the department including inputting, coordinating, and tracking marketing projects to keep projects visible and moving forward.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monitoring and communicating decisions on marketing requests across the company as well as refining the process for this
  • Works closely with team members to ensure projects meet expectations
  • Prepare regular reports on the quality and completion of team projects
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding and team member training session creation in PowerSchool Academy
  • Manage projects as assigned
  • Support improvements of our project management tool (WorkFront) and associated processes
  • Build clearly documented SOPs for the marketing team
  • Develop presentations, dashboards, reports and other team and leadership level project communications and documentation
  • Provide project status information on a regular basis by tracking, monitoring and communicating progress against project plans and requirements
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications or business
  • 1-2 years of experience in project management functions is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized individual
  • Ability to organize, multiā€task, work independently on several projects and meet deadlines
  • Ability to provide accurate work
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply policies and procedures
  • Skill in defining problems, reviewing processes and identifying areas for improvement and efficiencies
  • Eager to learn new technologies Knowledge, Experience & Education
  • Knowledge of and passion for marketing concepts, methods and techniques
  • Proficiency in database marketing including list segmentation, list manipulation, list quality and data hygiene
  • Experience with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM
  • Experience with WorkFront is a plus
