Market Research Analyst

As a Market Research Analyst, you will conduct primary research to support stakeholders across MINDBODY. Our research spans from discovery to evaluation; and you will draw on your quantitative research skills and statistical analysis abilities to provide MINDBODY with information and insights. You have experience working on the market research supplier side and/or on the client side as a market research analyst. You should be passionate about technology, the wellness industry and enjoy collaborating with others, and be committed to continuously learning and evolving.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with an emphasis in Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Psychology, Business Administration preferred. Relevant graduate degree a plus.
  • 2-5 years of quantitative market research experience
  • Experience using SPSS or similar statistical packages
  • Solid analytical skills and critical thinking abilities
  • Solid business writing capabilities
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with ecommerce in the B2B and/or B2C markets
  • Experience with qualitative research a big plus

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with various departments and business leaders to develop and define information needs
  • Conduct market research, analyze data, and generate clear recommendations supporting business objectives
  • Work with product and marketing managers to formulate research questions and propose research approaches in line with established timelines and using available resources
  • Deliver customer insights and recommendations supported by data for product strategy, sales & marketing strategy, and product positioning
  • Develops reports and presentations of actionable research findings
  • Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, conduct SWOT analyses
