Kiran Rao

Kiran Joined Vista Equity Partners in 2026. 

Prior to Vista, he most recently served as COO & CFO at BioRender, and prior to that as President and Interim CFO at Dataminr. Before Dataminr, Kiran spent six years at Bridgewater Associates, in leadership roles, including Co-Head of Finance, Head of Covid-19 Task Force, and Head of Portfolio Analytics partnering with the Co-CEOs and Co-CIOs on firm strategy. Earlier in his career, he was a Principal at The Boston Consulting Group across offices in the US, Switzerland, and India, and a Principal at GroveStreet, where he served on the Investment Committee.
