Zubin Nagpal joined Vista Equity Partners in 2019 and is a member of the private equity Foundation team.

Zubin partners with management teams across the Foundation Fund portfolio to scale midmarket software and technology-enabled businesses through repeatable, data-driven operating models.

Previously, Zubin served as a leader on Vista’s Value Creation Director team, working closely with executives to drive scalable growth, operational discipline and organizational maturity.

He has partnered with CEOs and executive teams across numerous companies, such as AlertMedia, Aptean, Critical Start, Kibo, Sonatype, TRG Screen, Vena Solutions and Zego (Powered by PayLease), supporting initiatives spanning go-to-market execution, financial operations and enterprise scaling.

Prior to Vista, Zubin was a founding member of Home Lending Source, a financial services roll-up that scaled from $10 million to $70 million in run-rate revenue through a disciplined, replicable acquisition and integration strategy. The business was ultimately exited to a strategic buyer.

Before Home Lending Source, Zubin was an Associate at Nine Rivers Capital, a lower-middle-market private equity firm focused on high-value engineering companies in India, where he worked across sourcing, diligence and portfolio support, helping build scalable operating foundations in founder-led and growth-stage businesses.
