Lara Sherman joined Vista Equity Partners in 2024.

Prior to Vista, Lara was Director and Head of Private Equity Business Development at Carta, an enterprise software company. Before Carta, Lara was a Senior Associate at Summit Rock Advisors, where she was a member of the fund investment team and conducted diligence on and invested in private equity and venture capital managers. Prior to Summit Rock, Lara was an Investment Banking Analyst at Lazard, where she focused on restructuring.
