Steven Antonson joined Vista Equity Partners in 2026 and serves as Senior Vice President, Chief of Staff to Vista’s Founder, Chairman and CEO, Robert F. Smith.

Prior to Vista, Steven was a Managing Director and Chief of Staff at Petra Funds Group, where he served as the primary strategic and operating partner to the firm’s Managing Partners and PE sponsor. Before Petra, Steven was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Zero Infinity Partners, where he built the financial and operational infrastructure for an early-stage venture fund. Earlier in his career, Steven was a Vice President within the Private Equity group at Fortress Investment Group.
