John Cashwell

John joined Vista Equity Partners in 2024.

He is Co-Head of Institutional Investor Relations and Capital Formation across North America. John has over 30 years of experience in the asset management industry with a focus on institutional business development and investor relations.

Prior to Vista, John held senior roles at firms including Blackstone, Seix Investment Advisors, Citigroup Alternative Investments and Oppenheimer Capital. During his 10 years as a Senior Managing Director at Blackstone, John played a key role in the growth of GSO Capital, the firm’s credit investment platform.
