Sam Payton

Sam joined Vista Equity Partners in 2015. 

He is a member of the private equity Flagship team. Sam has been actively involved in numerous Vista investments, such as Alegeus, Aspira, Cvent, EAB, Jaggaer, Playlist, PowerSchool, Regulatory DataCorp, Tripleseat and Xactly, among others. 

Prior to Vista, Sam worked at Odyssey Investment Partners, where he focused on middle-market buyout investments across various sectors. Before Odyssey, Sam was an Associate at Merrill Lynch, where he worked within the Financial Sponsors group.
