As an analyst working in Ping’s London office, your primary role will be enabling Ping to succeed by providing customers and prospects with assurance of our security and privacy compliance program. You will also be given the opportunity to contribute to a comprehensive program to manage the security and privacy compliance technical/architectural communication life cycle for customers, which will include: completing customer security due diligence questionnaires, creating external materials for the sales organization that promotes our security and privacy program, training the sales organization on our practices and the use of those materials, participating in sales and legal calls to provide guidance related to security and privacy compliance, and relaying customer security and privacy compliance requirements to internal stakeholders. As necessary, you will augment our additional security and privacy compliance initiatives including but not limited to: controls creation and testing, project compliance, security and privacy policy and standards creation and GRC metrics.

Job Functions:

  • Provide subject matter technical expertise on areas of security, privacy and regulatory compliance to support Ping Identity’s interactions with customers while promoting assurance of Ping Identity’s security and privacy program:
  1. Complete security due diligence questionnaires for customers and prospects
  2. Create external and customer-facing technical security and privacy compliance materials
  3. Perform training to the sales organization enhancing their knowledge regarding our security and privacy practices, and architecture, leveraging existing security and compliance material
  4. Participate in sales and legal calls and negotiations
  • Provide feedback to internal stakeholders in the development of security and privacy compliance related features
  • Work with Ping business functions to determine compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Assist in compliance projects such as ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC2, and FedRAMP as needed
  • Work closely with other security team members in completing cross functional projects
  • Other duties as assigned
Skills & Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Understanding of security controls at the systems, network and application level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience supporting enterprise customers
  • Ability to work with others

Desired Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of in the software or internet industries
  • 1+ years of technical sales or field sales experience with strong business knowledge; sales engineering or professional consulting experience
  • Knowledge of EU Data Protection Laws, ISO 27000, SOC 2 audit and risk management experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced, ever-changing and growing environment
  • Requires minimal management attention—self managed and can work in a fluid environment
  • Must be inquisitive and quick learner with attention to detail

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or computer related field or equivalent experience
