What You Will Do:

MBuy, a division of Mediaocean, is looking for a Senior Media Planner to join our growing team. This role can be located in Chicago or Los Angeles.  The Senior Media Planner works with clients from a variety of industries on the strategy and execution of their media campaigns. In addition to providing clients with day-to-day guidance on best practices across all media, the Senior Media Planner works cross functionally with Data Science and Business Development at MBuy to ensure successful delivery of projects and campaigns.  

Responsibilities Will Include:

·       Identify and recommend relevant media opportunities for current clients both within budget as well as potential upsell opportunities

·       Manage day to day communication with client point of contact and vendors as it relates to real time reporting on performance, recommendations, execution and reconciliation of media plans

·       Manage implementation of Mediaocean media management tools and software

·       Train and onboard all new account coordinators on  media platforms

·       Mentor junior team members in applying best practices to identify enhancements to current systems and processes

·       Responsible for real-time campaign management, optimization and offline/online cross channel reporting

·       Provides ongoing reporting and measurements across various marketing channels

·       Maintain key performance metrics while ensuring accuracy in reporting and recommendations

·       Responsible for maximizing campaign budgets via efficient vendor negotiations

·       Other duties as defined by Mediaocean/Mbuy Manager/Management

Skills & Requirements

Who You Are:

·      4+  years of media experience across planning,buying and optimization

·       Excellentanalytical, reporting and operational skills specifically related to mediaplanning/buying

·       Experienced incross-channel campaign strategy, reporting, and analysis

·       Projectmanagement skills, ability to establish and adhere to roles, responsibilitiesand actionable timelines for all deliverables

·       Some experience with the TV, Radio, OOH buying process,especially as it relates to measuring offline and online marketing’s impact onbusiness results

·       Proficientwith Microsoft Office suite of tools

·       Experienceworking with major industry tools and channels: Programmatic platforms, GoogleAnalytics, Facebook/Instagram, Google AdWords, YouTube, Video, Connected TV,Native,  3rd party ad servers,and more

·       In-depthunderstanding of campaign tracking, pixel implementation, and creativetrafficking

·       Passionate aboutthe media and advertising industry

·      A self-starting, motivated leader whofinds ways to continually advance and innovate MBuy’s media practice, formulateplans, achieve visions and inspire the team

·      A calculated risk-taker,  isn’t afraid to say no, but can pivot quicklyto get someone to say yes

·      Leads by example, can articulate thestrategic vision for the client and can also assist the team in setting up andlaunching campaigns

·       Stronginterpersonal skills, ability to communicate and interact with all levels ofinternal management, clients and team members

·      Bachelor Degree in Marketing or related fieldrequired
