Josh Gray joined Vista Equity Partners in 2019 and is a member of the private equity Foundation team.

Josh has been actively involved in numerous Vista transactions, including representative transactions such as BigTime Software, Fusion Risk Management and Resilinc.

Prior to Vista, Josh was President at Eved, a global AP and payments platform. Before Eved, Josh was an Operating Partner at Insight Partners, where he served as the interim CEO of Unitrends. Prior to Insight Partners, Josh was a member of the executive team at BigMachines (a Vista company), where he served as General Manager of BigMachines Express through the company’s acquisition by Oracle.

Josh has also held roles at the Chicago Public Schools and BCG, and he served as Assistant Chief Operating Officer on the 2008 Obama for America Presidential Campaign. Josh began his career as a Private Equity and Venture Capital Investor at Svoboda Capital Partners and Lehman Brothers.

Outside of work, Josh serves on the board of Communities in Schools of Chicago, a nonprofit organization that connects public school children with social, emotional, health and enrichment programs.
