Rod Aliabadi joined Vista Equity Partners in 2008 and sits on the Vista Flagship Funds’ Investment Committee.

Rod has been actively involved in numerous Vista transactions, including representative transactions such as EAB, KnowBe4 (formerly NASDAQ: KNBE), Securonix and TripleLift. Rod was also formerly involved with the firm’s investments in Acquia, Aderant, BigMachines, Cloud Software Group, Forcepoint, Integral Ad Science (formerly NASDAQ: IAS), Mediaocean, Mitratech, Numerator, Ping Identity (formerly NYSE: PING), Quickbase, Relias Learning, SirsiDynix, Stats Perform, SumTotal (formerly NASDAQ: SUMT) and Websense (formerly NASDAQ: WBSN).

Prior to Vista, Rod worked at the Stanford Genome Technology Center, where he developed nanotechnology-driven diagnostics. While at Stanford, Rod became involved in the creation and spin-out of NextBio, a SaaS provider of products for integrating corporate and public data from sequencing and microarray technologies (acquired by Illumina in 2013).
